O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, seeking to restore the Marukal of Vallanadu Kanmai in S.Nos.149 and 237, Vallanadu Village, Mudukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. The petitioner had given a representation on 24.11.2021.

2.The petitioner is a representative of Senkarpadai Village. The fourth respondent is a resident of Pusphavanam Village. Both the villages are in Vallanadu Panchayat, Mudukulathur Taluk in Ramanathapuram District.

3.Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for respondents 1 to 3. In view of the nature of the order now passed, notice is not directed to the fourth respondent. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader had forwarded a letter to the Court, proceedings in Na.Ka.No.P2/7191/2021, dated 14.12.2021, which has reference to a peace committee meeting, which was conducted on 08.12.2021 by the Tahsildar, Paramakudi in the office of the Revenue Tahsildar at Paramakudi and under the Chairmanship of the Additional Collector, Ramanathapuram.

In the peace committee meeting, the villagers of Senkarpadai including the petitioner herein; villagers of Pusphavanam Village; villagers of Vallanadu village; villagers of Indira Nagar village; and villagers of Devathanam village as well as all the necessary Government Officials had participated. In the peace committee meeting certain decisions had been taken unanimously. The Public Works Department and the Revenue Officials had also participated in the meeting. The resolutions given in the meeting had been reduced in writing and it has also been signed by all the individuals concerned. 5.

Let me not enter into a discussion on the nature of the decisions taken, since it is an unanimous decision taken by the Government officials, Public Works Department and Revenue and also by the Villagers themselves and I am confident that all the parties would abide by such decisions and I am equally confident that the Government officials would also implement the said resolutions. 6.Recording as such, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
