ORDER

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by an employee of the respondent/Transport Corporation seeking mandamus to sanction and allow the petitioner to withdraw a sum of Rs.9,81,137/- (Rupees Nine Lakhs Eighty One 1/4

Thousand One Hundred and Thirty Seven only) from and out of the petitioner's own accumulation of Provident Fund contribution for conducting the marriage of his daughter.

2. Seeking the above said relief, the petitioner has submitted a form on 21.08.2024, and the marriage has been fixed on 05.09.2024. Since the amount has not been disbursed so far, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to consider the application submitted by the writ petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, and is also directed to release the eligible amount to the writ petitioner within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
