W.P.(MD)No.3783 of 2017 2.The petitioner seeks police protection to her husband by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2017. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.
3. With the above observations, this writ petition stands dismissed as devoid of merits. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
