(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The present writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third and fourth respondents to ensure the periodical election of Parents Teachers Association (PTA), in Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Alanganallur, Madurai, and consequently to take appropriate action for its proper functioning, based on the established Rules and Regulations of the Parents Teachers Association(PTA) in Governments Boys Higher Secondary School, Alanganallur, Madurai. 2.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the offical respondents produced the proceedings of the State Project Director, Integrated School Education, 2/5

Chennai, in e.f.vz;.449/C7/xgf/gnkF, dated 16.03.2022, addressed to all the Chief Educational Officers of all the Districts in the State of Tamil Nadu, wherein, certain guidelines have been issued for re-configuration of School Management Committees in all the Government Schools in Tamil Nadu and pursuant to the said proceedings, elections were conducted and new office bearers were elected for the Parents Teachers Association for the year 2022-2023 and therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication.

Recording the abovesaid submission, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
