ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition as against the communication, dated 02.03.2016, sent by the second respondent/the Special Thasildar, Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation, to the 2/5

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kovilpatti, for taking necessary action as against the illegal connections taken from TACTV lines.

Though the petitioner has obtained licence from the Head Postmaster for running the Cable TV Television Network, he has to run the Television Network only by obtaining signals from Multi System Operators (MSOs). The petitioner has not made any averment in the affidavit that he had entered into an agreement with any Multi System Operator for providing signals at the relevant point of time.

4. It is now reported that the petitioner has registered himself with the Tamil Nadu Cable TV Corporation Ltd (TACTV) and 3/5

transmitted the signals from TACTV.

5. In view of the subsequent development, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
