ORDER

The petitioner is the 3rd accused in C.C.No.19 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Aundipatti. He is facing charges for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. Now, he has moved this petition seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.19 of 2024 on the ground of compromise.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that in this case, there are four accused. The defacto complainant has compromised the issue selectively with the petitioner/A3 alone. He further submits that apart from the defacto complainant, there are two other victims in this case.

3. Considering the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that apart from the defacto complainant, there are two other victims and the petitioner has compromised the issue with the defacto complainant alone, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The petitioner 2/4

is at liberty to file a fresh petition along with other accused by enclosing a compromise memo along with other victims. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
