ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to take action on his representation dated 21.05.2018 and pass orders within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Arunnithy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Matathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, 44 cents of land in Survey No. 746/22 belongs to him under settlement deed dated 11.02.1982. The petitioner submitted a representation on 21.05.2018 before the second respondent, seeking issuance of patta based on the settlement deed in his favour. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.05.2018 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
