The writ petition is filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to grant ordinary leave of 30 days without escort to the detenue Pandiyarajan S/o. Annamalai aged about 29 years, Convict No.23829, confined at Central Prison, Trichy.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation of the petitioner was considered and rejection order was passed on 05.09.2025.

3. Heard both sides and perused the records.

4. Since the petitioner's representation was already considered, the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. Therefore, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at 2/4

liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if she is so aggrieved by the rejection order passed by the respondent. (P.V., J.)
