This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2016 in which the petitioner seeks to reclassify the petitioner's leasehold land as 'Dry Manavari Lands Type-I' instead of 'Residential Class II Type I'.

2. The petitioner is a Trust which is engaged in imparting education. The petitioner is a leaseholder of 7.81 Acres of land belonging to the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department. The petitioner has not made the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department as a respondent in this Writ Petition. Page No. 2 of 5

3. Be that as it may, I am of the view, the request of the petitioner can be considered by the respondents after hearing the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department. The Assistant Commissioner of H.R. & C.E. Department, Karur District is therefore suo motu impleaded as the fourth respondent in this Writ Petition.

4. The first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits after due notice to the fourth respondent. This exercise shall be completed by the first respondent within a period of 8 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
