The petitioner with an allegation that his complaint, dated 04.08.2025 has not been acted upon by the respondent police, has approached this Court.

2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that on the complaint of this petitioner, they have conducted a petition enquiry in CSR No.305 of 2025, found that this petitioner's daughter had love affair with the fourth respondent herein and she was waiting till she attains age of 18. After attaining the age of 18, she eloped with the fourth respondent. After ascertaining the same, the respondent Police has closed the complaint of this petitioner on 14.08.2025. A copy of the closure report is also placed before this Court.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner. No costs.
