ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection for the Avani festival to be held on 15.09.2023 and 16.09.2023 for the temples namely Arulmighu Manjapuththu Kaliamman Temple, Somanathamangalam Revenue Village, Kalayarkovil Post, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.08.2023. 2.Since the prayer sought for providing police protection to conduct Avani festival, ie., 15.09.2023 and 16.09.2023 was already over, the matter has now become infructuous.

3.Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
