PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the third respondent in connection with the impugned orders in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.11127/Nil.1/1/2016 dated 22.12.2016 and Na.Ka.No.1718/Nil.1/1/2016 dated 26.12.2016 and Ref.No.11127/E1/1/2016 dated 14.01.2017 and first respondent's letter No.21179/A1/2016/8 dated 09.03.2017 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue her service till 31.03.2018 corrected date of birth being made based on the representations. [Prayer amended vide court order dated 24.03.2017 in W.M.P. (MD)No.3872 of 2017].

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition has now become infructuous, in view of the fact that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition has been achieved as the benefits have been granted to the petitioner. The same is also not disputed by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. 2/5
