This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to Survey the petitioner's properties comprised in Old Survey No.61/21 and New Survey No.61/23, situated at Andarkodtaram Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District to an extent of 20 Cents and fix the boundaries, on the basis of the petitioner's representations dated 06.07.2022 and 17.08.2023.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents to conduct survey of the petitioner's properties comprised in Old Survey No.61/21 and New Survey No.61/23, situated at Andarkodtaram Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District to an extent of 20 Cents and fix the boundaries, on the basis of the petitioner's representations dated 06.07.2022 and 17.08.2023. However, no action has been taken on the said application. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.08.2023 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after considering the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are rival claims, the said issues can be agitated before the civil Court. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
