This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents. 3.Perused the materials placed on record.

4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents reports that on receipt of the complaint, the respondent police conducted the investigation and registered a case in Crime No.36 of 2018, for the offence punishable under Sections 419, 420, 465, 468 471 and 120(b) of IPC as against the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL.O.P.(MD).No.19587 of 2018 5.Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
