ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the proceedings Nil dated 21.01.2017 and consequently directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to retain him as Special Associate at the second respondent Branch.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 28.07.2022, there was no representation for the petitioner. Even on 28.07.2022, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner retired from service on 31.05.2019 on attaining the age of superannuation. The matter is listed today only for the appearance of the learned counsel for the petitioner to confirm the submission of the learned counsel for the first respondent. Today also, there is no representation for the petitioner. 3.In the said circumstances, taking into consideration the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent that the petitioner retired from service on 31.05.2019, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. 2/4

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
