For Respondent : Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.8 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 323, 406 and 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.8 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the first accused namely Dr.Venkat Prabhu and the defacto complainant are husband and wife. Due to the matrimonial dispute, the case has been registered. 3.In an earlier occasion, similar petition was moved by this petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD) No.5732 of 2021 seeking anticipatory bail and by order dated 20.09.2021 this Court had granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner with a direction to execute two sureties within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Due to his illness, the petitioner was unable to execute sureties with in the stipulated time as per the order of Crl.O.P(MD) No.5732 of 2021 dated 20.09.2021.

5. Considering the facts and the circumstances of this Case, time granted by this Court vide order dated 20.09.2021 in Crl.O.P (MD) No.5732 of 2021 is extended further for a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
