PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct peace committee for conducting Mulaippari and Poo Karagam festival at Arulmighu Sri Sakthi Mariamman Temple at Varunthi, Ilayankudi Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 29.08.2023, within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner with a request to conduct the Peace Committee Meeting with regard to the temple festival has filed this writ petition.

3. Though this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first 2/4

respondent on instructions submitted that Peace Committee Meeting was conducted and the issue has also been amicably resolved. He further submitted that the temple festival has also over.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed. No costs. NCC : Yes / No.
