PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to restore and relieve the third respondent by transferring the absolute title on the remaining vacant land of the weaver's colony in the approved layout No.A7/1959 dated 22.08.1958 of an extent of 3.96 acres., on the members of the weaver's colony enable to maintain the colony effectively.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to restore and relieve the third respondent by transferring the absolute title on the remaining vacant land of the weaver's colony in the approved layout No.A7/1959 dated 22.08.1958 of an extent of 3.96 acres., on the members of the weaver's colony.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5 and Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned counsel, who takes notice for the sixth respondent and perused the materials available on record. 2/5
3.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that with regard to the issue involved in this writ petition appropriate proceedings have been initiated under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act. However, the same is pending without consideration. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
5.It appears that the issue raised in this writ petition is relating to the dispute among the members of the registered Society. It is also seen that appropriate proceedings have also been initiated under the Societies Registration Act and the same is pending. If really the petitioner is aggrieved, it is for the petitioner to canvass the proceedings pending under the Societies Registration Act. Without doing so, no writ proceedings can be initiated before this Court by the petitioner, parallelly. Further, any order passed in the proceedings initiated under the Act will bind the petitioner Society. 3/5
