ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.) This writ petition is filed by the wife of the detenu by name Palaniselvam seeking emergency leave for the detenu stating that the detenu's brother passed away yesterday i.e., on 12.09.2024 and that funeral ceremony is to be held today at 08.00 p.m.

2. However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that an application in this regard was already submitted before the Jail Authorities, they have also considered the same and have given permission.

3. In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
