083685/1048/G55/G551/2016-1, dated 07.11.2016 and quash the same as

illegal and consequentially to direct the 2nd respondent to draw the entire seniority list of the Assistant Engineer/Electrical who have been selected through internal selection during 2005 by evolving a rational procedure to fix the seniority among the selectees within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The issue involved in this writ petition is pertaining to, to consider the petitioner to include in the seniority list of 2005 of Assistant Engineer/Electrical in the respondent-Corporation.

2. During the course of hearing, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents placed a copy of the death certificate of the petitioner. On perusal of the same, it appears that the petitioner died on 30th April, 2021. The said certificate is placed on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner is no more.

4. In view of the above factual position and on consideration of the issue involved in this writ petition, in the considered opinion of this Court, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. 5.1. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. 5.2. No costs.
