Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. By the impugned communication, the local channels have been restrained from telecasting. The affected parties have not come before this Court. Only an Association has filed the writ petition. The petitioner has no locus standi to maintain the writ petition. It is always open to the aggrieved channels to file an independent writ petition on the same cause of action.

3. With this liberty to the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
