ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to cancel the Patta No.1901 issued in favour of the respondents 3 to 5 and restore the Patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property situated in Survey No.11/4, Narasingampatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, by disposing of the proceedings pending on the file of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.416/2025/A1, dated 18.02.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.K.Malaimaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.A.Baskaran, learned Additional

Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 3 to 5, notice to them is dispensed with.

3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.According to the petitioner, he filed an application before the first respondent seeking cancellation of patta issued in the names of the private respondents 3 to 5. Pursuant to the same, the first initiated an enquiry in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.416/2025/A1, dated 18.02.2025 and the same is still pending. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court with the above mentioned prayer.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents would submit that the next date of enquiry is fixed on 26.08.2025 and the enquiry will be concluded within the time stipulated by this Court.

6.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry initiated by him in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.416/2025/A1, and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
