Mr.Ayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to effect the correction in the name of petitioner's husband from Mahaboobjan to S.Seyad Mahaboobjan in the records of the register of Death in Registration No.146/2000/9/00195 dated 04/12/2000 by considering the petitioner's petition made under Rule-11 of the Tamilnadu Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 2000 dated 03.08.2019 within the period stipulated by this Court. 4.The petitioner is the wife of one Mr.Syed Mahaboobjan. The petitioner's husband died on 24.11.2000. In the Register of Deaths, it was recorded as 'Mahaboobjan' in stead of 'S.Seyad Mahaboobjan'. Therefore, she sought for correction of name in the Death Certificate under the Tamilnadu Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 2000. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation on 29.05.2019 and the same is still pending. Aggrieved over the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.22322 of 2019 non-disposal of the representation, the petitioner is before this Court.

5.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.05.2019 on its own merits and take further action in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
