ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The writ petitioner is working as Field Surveyor. He was working in Dindigul upto July 2022. He was thereafter deputed to Kanyakumari District for about three months. He has come back to Dindigul on 17.10.2022 and he is working there since 17.10.2022. He complains that his salary arrears have not been disbursed since April 2022. Hence, this writ petition is filed seeking such disbursement.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents states that the diary submitted by the writ petitioner is prima facie not satisfactory and that they propose to issue charge memo. If this Court grants liberty to the respondents, they have no objection for releasing the salary arrears. 4.The stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader appears to be more than fair.

5.In this view of the matter, the respondents are directed to release the salary arrears payable to the writ petitioner immediately and without any delay. The respondents are at liberty to initiate disciplinary action against the writ petitioner, if warranted. The writ petition is allowed on these terms.
