ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the second respondent to close the History Sheet opened against the writ petitioner in History Sheet No.51/2012, which is periodically being extended on the basis of the representation dated 13.07.2024 lodged before the respondents.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, in pursuance of the direction of this Court dated 20.09.2024, Mr.A.Raja, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Srivilliputhur Sub Division is present before this Court and according to him, he joined duty only on 29.08.2024.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that they have removed the writ petitioner's name from the history sheet and he has also produced the 2/4

proceedings dated 23.09.2024.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
