PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2023 in connection with C.S.R.No.150 of 2023 on the file of the third respondent Police and consequently, directing the respondents to conduct the enquiry and proceed in accordance with law.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.150 of 2023 on the file of the third respondent Police, basing on a representation of the petitioner on 12.06.2023.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that on 07.11.2022, the petitioner's son got married one Kokila, however, she was not willing to live with his son. On 26.02.2023, when the elders of both families were talking in order to get a solution, one Selvam and Arumugam abused the petitioner and his son and attacked them, on account of which, both of them sustained injury and were admitted in the hospital. Hence, the petitioner has given a representation on 26.02.2023 and C.S.R.No.150 of 2023 was given on 27.02.2023. Thereafter, the respondents Police have not taken any action and thereby, sought for suitable directions.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police submits that the respondents Police will complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible.

Considering the submissions made by both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents Police to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.150 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
