[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 6. Since we are not passing any adverse order, notice to the respondents 7 and 8 is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner seeks removal of encroachment as identified by the Special Tahsildar (ADW) in his proceedings, dated 14.03.2024. 3.Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran, learned Additional Government Pleader would on instructions submit that there is some confusion over the

allotments made and pattas granted, since they were granted as early as in the year 1963. Hence, the Department would conduct a survey by the Inspector of Surveyors before proceeding further. 4.In view of the said statement, the Writ Petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to take appropriate proceedings within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
