ORDER

The petitioner has lodged a complaint and filed this petition with an allegation that the respondent police is harassing him under the guise of an enquiry.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner along with the third respondent has borrowed a car as pledge by giving a sum of Rs.8,00,000/-. The amount was paid through the account of the petitioner. Thereafter, the third respondent, without the knowledge of the petitioner and the said Karthikeyan indulged in criminal case and the said car was seized by the Police. Thereafter, the said Karthikeyan filed a petition to return of the car and the same was returned to him. Therefore, the third respondent is insisting the petitioner to repay the amount of Rs.8,00,000/- and the respondent Police is also harassing him on the false complaint of the third respondent. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that based on the complaint of the third respondent, an enquiry has been initiated in CSR.No.482 of 2025 and the same is pending.

4.The very nature of the complaint appears to be civil in nature and it is not known that how the respondent Police has entertained the complaint. Therefore, this criminal original petition is allowed and the respondent Police is not supposed to 2/4

harass the petitioner. The respondent Police shall conclude the enquiry, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
