ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application in MD1077561919525 dated

17. 04.2025 to re-issue the Passport to the petitioner.

2. The learned Government Advocate for the second respondent submits that the petitioner was arrayed as an accused in Crime Nos.39 of 2017 and 109 of 2020.

3. The learned Governmnet Advocate confirms that in both cases, action has been dropped against the petitioner.

4. Considering the same, there can be no impediment in directing the first respondent to process the petitioner's passport application.

5. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to process the passport application of the petitioner and issue passport to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
