ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 324 and 307 of IPC, in Crime No.300 of 2012, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to a wordy quarrel, the petitioner along with other accused persons attacked the defacto complainant with a wooden log and caused injuries. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submits that a non-bailable warrant was issued 15.06.2024.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is directing the petitioner to surrender before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Pattukottai. The petitioner shall submit a bail application before the learned Judicial Magistrate. On such submission, the learned Judicial Magistrate shall consider the bail application in accordance with law on merits on the same day.

6. With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
