respondent to give adequate police protection for entering into the temple, namely, Arulmighu Balanagammal and Samayapurathu Amman Temple situated at Rani Mangammal Colony, Pottapanaiyur Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District, during the festival scheduled to be held on 05.09.2023 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2023.

For Petitioner : Mr.S.Muniyandi For R1 to R3 : Mr.S.S.Madhavan Government Advocate (crl.side) O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent Police to provide police protection for entering into the Temple, namely, Arulmighu Balanagammal and Samayapurathu Amman Temple, situated at Rani Mangammal Colony, Pottapanaiyur Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District, during the time of conducting festival, which is scheduled to be held on 05.09.2023.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the issue between the petitioner and the private respondents has been resolved and they are inclined to conduct the festival jointly.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
