ORDER
The petitioner has submitted an application dated 26.06.2023 to the second respondent requesting him to issue a legal heir certificate to his brother N.Ramkumar by mentioning his name as his legal heir. Since the said application has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. Today, when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, Ms.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader, on written instructions received from the second respondent submits that the petitioner's application has been rejected on the ground that his brother N.Ramkumar and his wife Mariammal were murdered by unknown persons on 25.12.2022, for which, enquiry is going on and there is no direct legal heirs for the deceased person. A copy of the communication has also been furnished to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. In view of the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to invoke appeal remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
