PRAYER:- Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.22 of 2022, dated 17.01.2022 pending investigation on the file of the fifth respondent police to some other investigating agency.

ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.22 of 2022, dated 17.01.2022 pending investigation on the file of the fifth respondent police to some other investigating agency.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that during the pendency of this petition, the respondents Police conducted the investigation and filed a final report on 14.03.2022 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivaikundam as "further action dropped". Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

3.Recording the above said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
