ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in O.Mu.A4/3021/2020, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

3. The petitioner was aggrieved by grant of patta in favour of the second respondent and he made a petition before the Tahsildar to cancel the patta. The Tahsildar rejected the petition. Aggrieved by the same, an appeal was filed before the first respondent and the same is pending from the year 2020 onwards. It is under these circumstances, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the appeal after issuing notice to the petitioner and the second respondent and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
