The petitioner, having certain issues with regard to the procession proposed to be conducted at Mettunerathan Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai, by the fifth respondent, in connection with Krishna Jeyanthi festival, has submitted a representation to the respondent police and has filed this writ petition that if the procession is conducted then it may create law and order problem in that locality.
2.Mr.V.S.Kumaraguru, the learned counsel for the fifth respondent submits that that they are not having any proposal to conduct a procession. They are going to celebrate Krishna Jayanthi festival alone in the village temple.

3.Mr. F.Deepak, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the fourth respondent. He has confirmed that they have not granted any permission for conducting a procession.
4.Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for the fifth respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that no procession would be conducted and they are going to celebrate Krishna Jayanthi festival alone, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
