ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned order passed by the respondent, in C.No.A2/24514/2018 D.O.No.1564/2018, dated 24.08.2018.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, after elaborate arguments advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made a submission before this Court that though the petitioner was acquitted from the criminal case registered against him, the charges framed against him in the year 2013 are pending so far without any further progress and hence, a direction may be issued to conclude the said disciplinary proceedings within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, it would suffice.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the enquiry will be completed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Recording the above said submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.22324 of 2018 conclude the enquiry pending against the petitioner, by following the procedure contemplated under the relevant Act and the Rules, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition are closed.
