PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary legal action against the fourth respondent and his subordinates working in TASMAC shop Nos.9975 and 9981 at Thiruchendur, Tuticorin District, for indulging illegal gratification, Corruption and illegal Assets purchased more than income, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2018, within a time frame as fixed by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary legal action against the fourth respondent and his subordinates working in TASMAC shop Nos.9975 and 9981 at Thiruchendur, Tuticorin District, for indulging illegal gratification, Corruption and illegal Assets purchased more than income, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.08.2018. 2/5

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of on merits and in accordance with law, within a time stipulated by this Court.

3. The learned counsels appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be disposed of by the respondents in accordance with law within a time frame.

4. In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.08.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after due opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
