ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 03.09.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the private respondents have encroached the "Sarkar Poromboke Salai" and constructed a wall; that the petitioner has given a representation before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukkottai and after enquiry, the RDO has cancelled the patta issued in favour of the private respondents and consequently, the wall constructed by the private respondents was demolished and that therefore, they have threatened the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner was constrained to give the present representation.

Recording the submission made on either side, the third respondent is directed to issue written summons to the petitioner and to the private respondent for causing their appearance before him for enquiry and there is no question of orally summoning the parties to the police station. The third respondent will conclude the enquiry within a period of ten days 2/4

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
