PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 24.10.2018 made by the petitioner directing the first respondent to initiate action for removing the illegal encroachment made by the seventh respondent to pass orders by perusing all the documents submitted on the petitioner side. (Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.10.2018 and to direct the first respondent to remove the illegal encroachments made by the seventh respondent in the Temple lands of Vellai Munneswaran Temple, Kovilur Village, Gandarvakkottai, Pudukottai District.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, both the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 to 5 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 2 and 6, on instructions, submitted that the encroachment pointed out by the petitioner had already been removed by the authorities. 3.However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach the authority concerned for removal of encroachment in respect of the left out areas, if any.
