This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Second Respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.222 of 2022 and file a final report early.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the Respondents submitted that FIR in Crime No.222 of 2022 has been registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 506(2) and 379 of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. Hence, he seeks three months time to complete the investigation.

4.Considering the nature of the offences and the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Respondents are directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.222 of 2022 and file a final report within a period undertaken by the Investigation Officer. 5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
