The present Writ Petition has been filed challenging the enquiry proceedings initiated against the petitioner. 2.It is now brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that subsequent to the filing of this Writ Petition, the petitioner has been imposed with a punishment of compulsory retirement and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present writ petition. The said fact is also not disputed by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, who has also perused the orders passed by the respondents imposing a punishment of compulsory retirement on the petitioner.

3.Recording the aforesaid fact, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 06.08.2024 Index :Yes / No Internet : Yes / No NCC : Yes/No MR 2/4
