O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 17.01.2022, passed by the respondent, imposing the punishment of stoppage of increment for two years with cumulative effect.
2. Admittedly, there is an appeal remedy available to the petitioner before the Managing Director of the respondent - Transport Corporation, if aggrieved by the impugned order dated 17.01.2022, passed by the respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits, on instructions, that the petitioner is willing to prefer an appeal as against the impugned order passed by the respondent.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Transport Corporation has also not raised any serious objection, if permission is granted to the petitioner by this Court to file an appeal before the Managing Director of the respondent - Transport Corporation within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and a direction is issued to the Managing Director of the
respondent - Transport Corporation to dispose of the appeal after adhering to the principles of natural justice within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to file an appeal before the Managing Director of the respondent - Transport Corporation (Appellate Authority) challenging the impugned order dated 17.01.2022, passed by the respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said appeal from the petitioner within the stipulated period, the Managing Director of the respondent - Transport Corporation shall entertain the same, without insisting that the appeal ought to have been filed within the period of limitation, and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a period of eight weeks thereafter. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
