ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the FIR in Crime No.137 of 2021 registered on the file of the first respondent.

2. The defacto complainant Sakkarai Pandi is present in person before this Court.

He has been duly identified by Thiru.S.Ramachandran, HC-1661 attached to Thiruppalaikudi Police Station, Ramanathapuram District. The defacto complainant categorically states before this Court that he does not want to pursue the complaint. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.19892 of 2021 prosecution alive. The parties have also filed a joint Compromise Memo dated 28.01.2022. The impugned FIR is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. The Compromise Memo shall form part of the record.
