O R D E R This petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.335 of 2023 on the file of the 1st respondent police. 2.The contention of the petitioner is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.335 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a), 14(A) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act against the petitioner alleging that the petitioner was in possession of 20 bottles of liquor.

3.Today, when the matter is take up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police submits that investigation on the complaint given by the second respondent against the petitioner, revealed that the vehicle of the petitioner is only involved in this case and hence, the name of the petitioner has been removed from FIR.

4.Since the name of the petitioner has already been deleted from the FIR, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition and the the matter has become infructuous.

5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
