O R D E R

The Writ Petition is directed against the notice dated 12.08.2021 issued by the second respondent and for direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to grant the Electricity Connection in favour of the writ petitioner as per Regulation 27(4) of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code, 2004 within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that 2/4

subsequent to the impugned notice, the writ petitioner has given a fresh application and on that basis, earlier connection was restored to the writ petitioner and as of now, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present writ petition.
