O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to conduct an enquiry on the petitioner's representation, dated 13.02.2017, by providing opportunity to the petitioner and pass orders within the time as maybe fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has purchased 1920 sq.ft of land in S.No.725/127 of Kadambarkoil Village, Kulithalai Taluk; that the respondents 3 and 4 had reduced the measurements of the above property to an extent of 6 x 64 sq.ft in the Town Survey Records without issuing notice to the petitioner nor conducting any enquiry in this regard; that the petitioner has already submitted a representation to the third respondent to conduct enquiry and make necessary changes in accordance with the documents of the parties and that the same is pending before the third respondent.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation is pending before the 2/4

third respondent and the third respondent may be directed to conduct enquiry and pass orders within time stipulated by this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader and considering the limited prayer now sought for, without entering into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, after giving notice to the necessary parties and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
