This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to grant 28 days ordinary leave without police escort to the petitioner's husband namely Selvendran, S/o.Senthilvel, convict prisoner, PID No.204218 confined at Open Air Prison, Purasadai Udaippu, Sivagangai District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2025. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 07.07.2025 has been considered and 28 days ordinary leave has been granted to the convict prisoner. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition stands closed.
