ORDER

This writ petition was filed challenging the summon dated 19.12.2016 issued by the respondent police under Section 91 of Cr.P.C., directing the petitioner to undergo potency test.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 12.09.2022, this Court directed the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to take instructions with regard to stage of the case.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the investigation has been completed and a final report has been filed against three accused persons before the Additional Mahila Court, Dindigul, on 20.07.2022 and the final report is yet to be taken on file.

4. In view of the above development, there is no requirement for this Court to test the validity of the impugned summon, since that stage has crossed and the final report itself has been filed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
