O R D E R

The petitioner with a grievance that the respondents have not provided compensation for the death of the petitioner's husband has filed this writ petition.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's husband one Alagu died on 31.10.2022 due to electrocution. However, the compensation amount has not yet been provided by the respondent TANGEDCO. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation before the respondents on 18.07.2023. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents. 3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Board requests some time for filing counter affidavit. 2/5

4.This writ petition was entertained by this court on 04.09.2023 and was adjourned to 19.09.2023 for the response of the respondent TANGECO. The respondents are still seeking time for filing counter affidavit.

5.Considering the relief sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in the light of the proceedings issued by the TANGEDCO in Per.FB TANGEDCO Proceedings No.6 dated 16.10.2019 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
