PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to receive and register the bilateral cancellation of the settlement deeds dated 21.09.2016 for cancellation of the Settlement Deed vide Document No.766/2016, dated 07.06.2016 and Settlement Deed vide Document No.767/2016, dated 21.06.2016 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Thiruvadanai, the respondent herein. This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, to direct the respondent to receive and register the bilateral cancellation of the settlement deeds dated 21.09.2016.

2.Today(13.03.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition as the prayer in this writ petition has now become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No Costs.
